Purusha Suktam is the preferred hymn of the Vedas, recited by tens of millions on a regular basis as prayer, and through formal worship. The central concept of this hymn is that God alone has turn out to be all the pieces within the universe, and but He transcends creation. The creation is effected by way of a psychological sacrifice by which God affords himself because the sacrificial lamb.
