Indian and Sri Lankan communities in Paris celebrated on Sunday the Hindu competition honoring Ganesha, the elephant god and a logo of knowledge. Worshipers carried his effigy all through neighborhoods within the French capital and broke coconuts as a symbolic sacrifice.
