Lord Vishnu is likely one of the Trinity ( Tridev) together with Lord Brahma and Lord Shiva and is the preserver of the universe. Vishnu means “one who’s every thing and inside every thing” is often depicted as having a darkish, or pale blue complexion and having 4 arms.
He holds a Padma (lotus flower) in his decrease left hand, Kaumodaki Gada (mace) in his decrease proper hand, Panchajanya shankha (conch) in his higher left hand and the Sudarshana Chakra (discus) in his higher proper hand.

As per Main Puranas and Vaisvanism Lord Vishnu is out of the circle of demise and delivery he’s the one who can’t die or can’t be born. He was there when there was nothingness and darkness and he’s the one who has created the universe and he’s the one who preserves the lives in universe.
As per puranas lord Vishnu is Sayambhu as are Lord Shiva and lord Brahma. They’ve created themselves after which they created Universe and residing issues. They’re the one who incarnates on the earth to verify the stability between Dharma and Adharma.
