Samkhya philosophy is taken into account to be the oldest organised philosophy of the Hindus. In its long term it has influenced Yoga, Vedanta, and Tantra deeply.
Indian philosophy is named darshan, which means to see appropriately. The objective of each Indian philosophy is to investigate within the nature of man, world, and the final word actuality – and from there to accumulate unbounded pleasure. For some, this pleasure might lie in sense pleasure, whereas for others it could be in nirvana, and mukti.
This collection of talks was delivered at Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College, Belur Math, in 2017.
