Saraswati is the Hindu goddess of information, music, arts, knowledge and nature. She is part of the trinity of Saraswati, Lakshmi and Parvati. All of the three kinds assist the trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva within the creation, upkeep and destruction of the Universe. The Goddess can also be revered by believers of the Jain faith of west and central India. The Sarasvati River is a vital river goddess within the Rigveda. The Sanskrit identify means “having many swimming pools”.
