Anti-Hindu sentiment may be observed throughout the varied spheres of public life in Tamil Nadu. Contempt, hatred and prejudice in direction of Hindu beliefs, values, deities, Vedas, Sanskrit and many others may be seen in every single place ,i n tv discussions, movies, print media, politics and tutorial seminars. Typically, practising Hindus really feel damage by the media and political discussions which look down upon their customs and adhyatmic practices. Beneath this detrimental perspective in direction of Hindu beliefs and practices, and religious Hindus, a deep worry of the resurgence of dharmic tradition and civilization may be positioned. The roots of this Hinduphobia could also be traced to the colonial and missionary historiographical and ethnographic constructions. An interlocked community of Christian missionaries, leftists and Dravidianists are reproducing and perpetuating this contempt for Hinduism by way of academia and media. Hinduphobia must be understood by way of its a number of dimensions, patterns and sources in order to deal with it. A deeper understanding of this phenomenon would pave the way in which for a dharmic cultural and civilizational resurgence in India particularly in Tamil Nadu, the land of Azhwars and Nayanmars.
