The Vedas- With English Meanings

The Vedas are probably the most historical sacred texts of Hinduism.

Every of the 4 Vedas consists of the metrical Mantra or Samhita’ half and the prose ‘Brahmana’ half giving discussions and instructions for the element of the ceremonies at which the Mantras had been for use and explanations of the legends linked with the Mantras and rituals.

Each these parts are termed shruti (which custom says to have been heard however not composed or written down by males).
